Village of Torres in Anadia receives the “Aldeias de Portugal” certificate
The Municipality of Anadia will deliver the “Aldeias de Portugal” Certificate to the village of Lugar de Torres, parish of Vilarinho do Bairro, in a formal ceremony that will take place, on the 9th of October, at 17:00, during the Festa do Bunho and of Junco. The Certificate will be delivered by the Municipality to the Vilarinho do Bairro Parish Council, a natural representative of the village of Torres.
The “Aldeias de Portugal” network aims to be a showcase of good practices in rural development, promoting heritage preservation, social inclusion, better use of local resources, exploration of new uses for local resources and techniques, cooperative work in the villages, within the network and also of international cooperation for rural development. The network promotes the search for a rural identity that complements the urban, assuming itself as a factor for capturing and capturing flows and residents.
