The contemporary art festival “Les Visiteurs du Soir” in Monaco
Last weekend, the new contemporary art festival “ Les Visiteurs du Soir” offered a free, unregistered stroll through various cultural venues in the Principality.
For three days, on 23, 24 and 25 September, the public was invited to visit around ten sites in the Principality. The “Les Visiteurs du Soir” festival, set up by the contemporary art network BOTOX(S), consisted of guided tours, openings, performances and meetings with artists throughout the Principality. The detailed program can be found on the BOTOX(S) website.
Some places were accessible at night, such as the New National Museum of Monaco which currently presents “Christian Bérard, Eccentric Baby”. “It is an exhibition that has been a great success”, rejoices Benjamin Laugier, at the microphone of Monaco Info. The person in charge of public services at the NMNM also remarks that“a large tourist public also came to discover this figure which was unknown to them until then..
Visitors were also able to discover the “Garden Club #1” exhibition at the Bosio Pavilion, in the presence of the students who imagined it, or even visit the Hauser & Wirth gallery with Roni Horn’s exhibition.
The festival is still taking place in other cities in the region with the same objective: to ensure the promotion and dissemination of art for all.
