The best practices of popularization of physical culture and sports were discussed within the framework of the forum “Russia – a sports power”
On September 28, within the framework of the 10th observation of the forum “Russia – a sports power”, a networking was held on the topic: “The best experiences in promoting physical culture and sports.”
Within the framework of the event, a large-scale exchange of experience took place between local figures in the field of physical culture and sports in different regions of Russia. Our projects were found by successful Russian athletes: ex-captain of the Russian national football team Alexei Smertin and two-time Olympic champion in biathlon Anna Bogaliy.
Smertin has been participating in various mass competitions for several years now, and as a representative of the Russian Football Union (RFU), he participates in football competitions for people with limited circles of interests.
“Russia is the only country that can hold football events with all the “nosologies” while generating consumption. We held an event for people who are hard of hearing, hard of hearing, with disorders of the musculoskeletal system, as well as football in electric wheelchairs. It was a breakthrough project that allows you to socialize people with disabilities,” said Smertin.
Bogaliy has also been researching the Biathlon World Cup for children for several years now. The geography of events covers six cities of Russia. The two-time Olympic champion has become the most important example that will motivate them. And she tries to be such a figure. At the same time, there is a serious problem at the level of children’s sports.
“Inside the country, we held an analogue of the World Cup for children who meet in biathlon. Competitions were held in six cities. The future depends on how we educate the youth.
A personal brand is essential. You need to show children an example that will motivate them. It is the responsibility of every champion to pass on their experience. We do everything to make the world of sports for children more understandable and friendly.
Unfortunately, the financial vector is aimed at professional sports. Although all the work goes below – on the first link. We need to change the vector in the direction of children’s sports, ”Bogaliy said at the networking.
In addition, five successful projects were implemented as part of the event:
— podcasts of famous athletes of the Tyumen region (#SPORTKAST72);
— national running movement “Running League of the Moscow Region”;
– “Summer in the style of the TRP” in the Samara region;
– “Baltic longevity” on the basis of the stadium “Kaliningrad”;
– a model for organizing systematic sports activities with adults, accompanying children to the places of sports activities and the expected completion of PHYS KULTRASS classes.
