Pictures from trips: Prague – Albertov, Bastion, Ztracenka

I’m in Prague and I’m deciding where to go. Since it is August 21st, I go in style to Albertov, then to Bastion and end my short morning walk in Ztracenka park.
I’m changing at Výtona, waiting for the tram, and suddenly I see a dog playing with a nutria by the Vltava. But I didn’t manage to catch it, the owner dragged the dog away.
I drive to Albertov and walk to Karlov. Along the way, I pass many faculties of Charles University. In Karlovy Vary, I visited the Church of the Virgin Mary and St. Charlemagne. Next, I pass to the Bastion, which is part of the fortifications of the New Town of Prague. There are beautiful views of Prague from here, of which the Vyšehrad Castle dominates. There is also an original restaurant and beautiful stainless steel sculptures by Lukáš Raise. When I get close and look at them, I see myself mirroring me. It’s a wonderful connection, suddenly I’m a part of them. Impressive place. Weddings and various cultural events are also held here. A concert here must be a great experience.
I walk into the beautifully renovated Ztracenka garden. In the 18th century, here on the slopes of Albert’s former orchard and vineyard. Small terraces are created from the brick walls, the paths eventually become resting places with benches. A beautiful, relaxing place to relax and contemplate. I stopped for a long time at the memorial to honor the memory of the victims of two totalitarian regimes. In all the time I spent here, to my great joy, I did not meet a single live-in person. And so I really enjoyed it here.
