In Toulouse, Serviciz and Siane will redo the salon (as before)
The first to appear on the Occitan economic agenda, the Serviciz fair will take place on Thursday October 6 at the Pavillon du Stade Toulousain, in the Pink City. This will be the eighth edition of this event which aims to “highlight the excellence of services to businesses and communities in Occitania” [1], summarizes Alain Rabary, CEO of Val Software and elected representative of the CCI Haute-Garonne. “We have 150 exhibitors this year. An increase of 25% compared to last year and 50% compared to the first edition. We had 1,300 visitors in 2021. We should exceed 1,500 in 2022, ”explains Aurélie Courouleau, general manager of Dépêche Events, the co-organizer of the event with the CCI.
The employers’ unions CPME 31 and Medef 31 are the main partners, with in particular the economic development agency of Occitanie Ad’Occ. Various subjects of business concern will be discussed during round tables (energy crisis, digital transition, recruitment tensions, place of CSR, etc.). Among the many meetings, the Stade Toulousain, which hosts the event, and the TFC will come to give their advice “to recover better after difficulties” and “to unite a team around a goal”.
Le Siane hopes to “exceed 13,000 visitors”
The Salon Siane, dedicated to industries (metallurgy, wood, agri-food, etc.), will take place from October 18 to 20 at the Meett exhibition center, near Toulouse, for its seventeenth edition. According to Didier Katzenmayer, Chairman of the Industry Commission at the Toulouse Haute-Garonne CCI and Director of Industrial Affairs at Airbus Operations, the discussions will revolve around various questions, including: “How to recruit at a time of large distribution ? and “How will it attract young people to careers in industry?” »
While 500 exhibitors are expected, the organizers hope to “exceed 13,000 visitors”. Among the many elements to discover during these three days, we can note “a space on the industry of the future of 700 square meters” (robotics, connected objects, etc.), “a long TV set dedicated to hydrogen” or another “educational activity of the Union of industries and trades of metallurgy (UIMM) to make the youngest understand the functioning and the interest of the different industries”.
Michel Haddad, director of Mecamesures Technologies, Toulouse subcontractor for defense and aerospace, did not miss an edition of Siane. “Before, you had to go to Paris to do such shows,” says the business manager. This year, he would like “the lack of cash in the Industry as well as the difficulties in reimbursing PGEs not to be overlooked”. Didier Katzenmayer affirms that these subjects “will be presented during several discussions”. The elected consular would also keep the event more open to the international in 2023: “I know that this is debating. Some are afraid that we put forward potential competitors. But I think you have to take it offensively and not defensively. Why didn’t we find new markets abroad in this way?
