‘In Greece they are crazy about football’
PAOK
Narey spoke in his home country about his decision to continue his career in PAOK, stressing that his experience in Toumba so far does not compare to what he has experienced in Germany.
Kaled Narey spoke to the media of his homeland and declared that he was justified in the decision he made last summer to continue his career in PAOK.
What the German striker said in detail:
On his decision to continue his career at PAOK:
“In football you have a very limited time to make the most of a career. I have already reached a certain age and my performances have attracted the attention of other clubs. Fortuna is of course – also – a big club, but here in PAOK everything is different, I can’t compare the situations”.
On the way he pushed for a transfer:
“Anyone who knows me knows that abstinence would never be an option for me. I gave it every day I was on the pitch for Fortuna. No one can blame me for wanting to leave Fortuna.”
