A Sotteville-les-Rouen (Seine-Maritime), the Eauplet bridge was closed to traffic on September 27, 2022 following a collapse of the roadway that occurred during the day. This road axis which connects the left bank of Rouen to Sotteville-lès-Rouen, passing over the railway lines, is therefore no longer accessible to motorists, and this for “an indefinite period”.
A diversion in place
The work belongs to the SNCF, and it is the Métropole Rouen Normandie which is in charge of the maintenance of the roadway and the railings. “The various departments worked together to identify the origin of the problem and resolve it as soon as possible”, specifies the Métropole de Rouen on this subject.
A diversion has been put in place while a solution is found.
