“Belgium is a country that I adore”: Christophe Dechavanne hosts “Les Orages de la Vie” this evening on RTL TVI
The Storms of Life are back on RTL ITV and RTL To play this Tuesday evening 8:30 p.m.. For the occasion, Christophe Dechavanne, the program’s new host, is on the set of RTL Avec Vous. He visited personalities or fellows that life has not always spared. As in the past, the show invites us to review life journeys with their joys, their sorrows, their various emotions. The French animator has assigned himself to this new project, “his new Belgian career which begins“.
“We all have storms in life, difficulties that are not required medically“, explains Dechavanne. “I tried to stay as natural as possible. It’s my personality that they came to look for. It is impossible for me to take a posture being in front of someone who is dragging a ball so I can only be very natural. Both funny and sensitive. Because after all, I am too. I’m like everyone else, I cry. I have had very emotional moments where I have pulled away a bit to clear my eyes.“
Christophe Dechavanne is delighted to host a Belgian show: “Belgium is a country that I adore, the Belgians are people that I adore. And I’m not here to wet the compress, I say that in all sincerity.“
In tonight’s show, two portraits
The first, that of a little boy, Illias. “He’s a little boy who has a very rare disease, but which affects a number of children. It’s a so-called opheline disease, which means that we don’t take much care of it.” This disease is known as “moon children disease“: “These are children who cannot be in contact with the rays of the sun. They live in their homes with occupied windows or if not like cosmonauts.” He pursues : “This disease causes side effects such as deafness,… It is a very complicated disease.“
Then, that of the Belgian chef from the Top Chef telecrochet, Mallory Gabsi. “The star !“, continues Dechavanne directly. He lost an eye when he was young. “During an apprenticeship in a restaurant. Bad liquid sent at the wrong time so he lost an eye, which was very complicated for him.“For the French animator:”it was interesting to see a kid who totally thrived in the kitchen.“
To discover these two fabulous destinies alongside Christophe Dechavanne, meet this evening at 8:30 p.m. on RTL-TVI and RTL Play.
