Brussels (VNA) – Vietnamese families living in the capital of Belgium and its surroundings participated on September 25 in the Daytime of the family Vietnamese held at the playground in the Ixelles district of Brussels. The occasion also to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival.
This is a traditional activity organized every year by the General Union of Vietnamese in Belgium (UGVB) in collaboration with the Vietnamese Embassy in this country in order to promote ties and solidarity between the Vietnamese community in Belgiumand at the same time valuing the role of family, traditional Vietnamese culture and identity.
A parade of ao dai presented by young Vietnamese girls, mothers and children, was the highlight of the show by arousing the curiosity of the public.
In addition, the program offered many equally exciting activities, such as unicorn dance, magic show, presentation of handicrafts, books, traditional Vietnamese dishes, etc.
Children also participated in demonstrating their talents through artistic performances. -VNA
