Territory Secretariat: “San Marino’s participation in Terra Madre was a success”
Today ends “Terra Madre Salone del Gusto 2022”, the largest international gathering of the Slow Food network which aims to design a different future for food, a future that derives from the daily choices of individuals, from the commitment of communities and from the policies of public and private institutions.
“The event dedicated to the world of food, agriculture and sustainability in the food and wine sector organized in Turin by Slow Food – explains a press release from the Secretariat of State – saw for the first time the participation of the Republic of San Marino, a participation engaging and deeply felt.
The turnout at the stand of the Republic of San Marino has always been significant and Sunday 25 September was characterized by a very high flow of visitors who took part in the meetings and workshops for the presentation of the excellence of San Marino food and wine and who chose to taste.
During the whole event, workshops are held to present the agricultural supply chain of the territory dedicated to bread-making with mother yeast and to the cereals and flours of the territory, to the distillation of essential oils, “2 chats with the San Marino Winery”, “Di fiore in flower “,” A drizzle of oil “and” Nobles: Bresaola and more “, organized by the Terra di San Marino Consortium in collaboration with the San Marino Winery, the Sammarinesi Beekeeping Cooperative, the San Marino Olive Growers Cooperative and the Breeders Cooperative San Marino citizens.
Today, September 26, “Terra Madre Salone del Gusto 2022” ends, which saw the participation of more than 600 exhibitors from all the Italian regions and the world, an event that for the Republic of San Marino was an international showcase for the presentation and the enhancement of our country and local products.
During the event, the Republic of San Marino was pleased to host the Slow Food President Carlo Petrini in its stand, who expressed his satisfaction with our country’s participation in the event, wishing a fruitful collaboration for the future.
