Six Senses Crans-Montana opens in Switzerland this December
In addition to several of its stunning properties around the world, including those in the tropical scene of Koh Yao Noi and Samui, Six Senses is proud to announce the forthcoming resort nestled in the White Mountains of Switzerland.
If you’re planning a ski trip this coming winter, you’re in luck. Six Senses will unveil its first Swiss property next December, just in time for the slopes.
Operating year-round, Six Senses Crans-Montana offers ski-in/ski-out access from its privileged location just above the main Crans gondola lift and is one of the few resorts where guests don’t need to car hire; All you have to do is take the two-hour train from Geneva Airport to Sierre and hop on the funicular.
Here, the idyllic place accommodates 45 terrace rooms, one- and three-room suites. The bay windows and private terraces offer an incomparable view over the Valais valley, from the Swiss Matterhorn to the French Mont Blanc massif.
After a long day of skiing, guests are invited to strengthen themselves in one of the two in-house restaurants. The main Byakko restaurant serves Japanese cuisine like hoba miso and sushi, while the all-day Wild Cabin Brasserie serves a menu of classic Swiss dishes with a twist.
Of course, the Six Senses Spa should not be missing here. In addition to a stunning indoor pool overlooking the frosty surroundings, guests can also take advantage of the second rooftop pool, steam room, whirlpool and cold water pool. That’s not all – the 2,000 m² spa also has nine treatment rooms, an innovative stretch pod, state-of-the-art fitness facilities and a yoga studio.
While you’re not enjoying your time on the slopes or in Six Senses Crans-Montana’s in-house open-air cinema, other sporting activities such as paragliding, mountaineering and water-skiing on Lake Crans are also made available to hotel guests during the winter season and caters for a holiday that you won’t soon forget.
