“Just a week after the 13th edition of the Taekwondo International Open in Ljubljana, held last Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 September, which started the 2022-23 competitive activity, our 4 standard-bearers Michele Ceccaroni (4th dan – 68 kg.) N. 90 of the world ranking, Daniele Leardini (1st dan -87 kg), Stefano Crescentini (2nd dan -73 kg. Junior) and Samuel Tarini (2nd dan -63 kg. For this purpose, the best athletes of Marche and Emilia Romagna got on the Titan with the task of being sparring partners of our white-blue.
At the Sport Domus, on Saturday 24th for three hours, the All Blacks athletes from Ancona, Activa Combat from Pesaro, Yonghon from Verucchio and Taekwondo Cattolica, many of them Italian nationals, tested the potential of our agonists by carrying out an excellent fight training together.
Now the island of Malta awaits us, in the center of the Mediterranean, located just 80 km from the Sicilian coast, where the climate is mild all year round and where we hope for the beautiful result of the 1st European Championship of Small States held in June 2022 in San Marino, as the antagonists will be the same.
While the competitive team will be engaged on the Maltese island, the remaining part of the athletes (amateurs and big and small agonists) will train in the two gyms of Fonte dell’Ovo in San Marino City and Sport Domus of Serravalle where the activity has already started for everyone, already presented last Sunday at Sport vin Fiera ”.
