International Dance Conference, the 2022 edition in Siena
The International Dance Conference (IDConference edition 2022) will be held from 21 to 23 October at the University of Dance headquarters in Piazza Maestri del Lavoro 31 in Siena.
International Dance Conference (IDConference 2022 edition), aims to create a scientific-dance event character by creating a moment of study, analysis and scientific / methodological research in the field of dance, in all its expressions. IDConference was born in 2021 as a symbol of the rebirth of the performing arts, with a scientific and medical eye. This new, and at the same time unusual, cut was designed to help teachers and dancers in methodological updating and medical study, a focus almost never treated.
In addition to the sectoral area, IDConference aims to train and update socio-sanitary operators who work in the physiological, rehabilitative, orthopedic and sports medicine and food therapist by applying their knowledge and their studies in the field of dance, stimulating thus, their personal Continuing Training for greater horizontal and vertical mobility, specializing or updating themselves on the specific problems of the dancer. These figures will have the opportunity to acquire ECM credits, upon passing an exam that will take place at the end of the three days of the conference.
International Dance Conference will be held at the headquarters of the Ateneo della Danza scsd arl in Piazza Maestri del Lavoro 31, Siena from 21 to 23 October 2022 and it will be possible to follow it both in person and electronically. The days will be structured as follows:
21 October 2022: Psychology of dance and Neuroscience in dance;
22 October 2022: Medicine and Physiotherapy of dance;
23 October 2022: Methodology of dance.
The interventions will be given by internationally renowned speakers, including Marco Batti, Marco Bonifazi, Emilia Butelli, Romeo Cuturi, Omar De Bartolomeo, Filippo Del Sal, Francesca Di Gioia, Irene Giglioli, Rossella Garoffolo; Vincenzo Marsicovetere, Massimiliano Mazzilli, Johnny Padulo, Luana Poggini, Simone Rossi, Elena Viti, Simone Vivarelli, Stefano Zambelli.
