HAZ Hannover update: The sauna stays off

Dear readers,
welcome to your HAZ update. The 2022 outdoor pool season can safely be called over. But fortunately there is one in the city and the surrounding area wide offer at indoor pools – even a few new ones, like in Langenhagen and Neustadt. The modern bathing park in Garbsen only opened last year.
But if you want to do your laps this autumn and winter, you have to expect a few changes because of the energy crisis – and with them also less comfort – set to. That’s no surprise so far, especially not after the city of Hanover left the showers cold in its outdoor pools in the summer. However, the number of measures is higher in winter, as my colleague Christian Hügelkamp explains using the example of the Stadionbad in Hanover. Warm (even if not hot!) showers will continue to be available there – one does not want to “scare” the bathers. But the sauna stays off, for example. You can read the notebooks here.
Danny Schroeder from Kiel is also concerned with saving energy. The technician even describes himself as an “energy saver” – and the facts speak for him: His last heating bill should zero euros. The 37-year-old still has it comparatively warm, because he heats with a tea light oven. This is not undisputed but for Schroeder it works. Here you can find out what else he pays attention to in his apartment in order to keep energy costs as low as possible.
And with that, I wish you one good start on this Sunday!
