Art of work o papel, from the people of Redondo, went to Lisbon promoting Ruas Floridas 2023 (with photos)
The traditional Ruas Floridas in the village of Redondo (Évora) will return from July 29 to August 6 of the next year, after an interregnum edition, due to the covid-19 pandemic.
In this sense, the Municipality of Redondo carried out an action to promote the event in Rossio, in Lisbon, thus starting the journey that a “Rua Móvel” will make.
The 20 meter long structure and ornamentation up to the country, and an evenR structure, border furniture, to show the history of Florida Streets to show the history of the Streets and promote an edition of 202 borders.
The ceremony in Lisbon was attended by the mayor of Redondo, David Galego, the rest of the executive, as well as personalities from Portuguese social political life, as well as many national and international tourists who strolled through Rossio and wanted to know these various great parties.
In statements to’ODigital.pt the mayor of Redondo, David Galego, revealed to us that “The Florida Streets will have, next year, about 22 streets decorated with flowers, figures and others made in colored paper.”

“This type of promotion that we started in Lisbon is essential, because we want it to be a construction event that, in economic terms, will have a great impact on the region, similar to the previous one in which the hotel business was sold out.”, he stressed.
The mayor highlighted the strength of will of the People of Redondo, because “Clearly, it is not possible to create a certain dimension without commitment, without the good will, without the art of our people and People of Redondo with all these qualities.”.
Regarding the large number of tourists who visited Rua Móvel no Rossio in Lisbon, the mayor said that “it was very curious about who, it was something that created curiosity in those who, at Rossio and actually noticed us, a lot of people visiting the joy with which they work for the quality of our work.”
