Star cast ‘Amsterdam’ is ticking off a bucket list full of great actors
The new movie Amsterdam was shown to the first reviewers of the week. The comings are divided on this comedy thriller, but who wouldn’t want a star cast like this? The film is packed with familiar faces, like the Avenger films and the Barbie film do.
In addition to actors such as Robert de Niro and Mike Myers, as Taylor Swift and Christian Rock surprisingly pass by. Spotting stars is extra fun for us Dutch, because part of the film is set in Amsterdam.
Legendary and impressive
the film Amsterdam were years prepared and made to become the craziest movies in Hollywood. For a murder mystery it is such a unique film that the story has to win the prizes. Plus, for many actors, it was a dream come true as they finally got to work with their favorite actors on set, they tell Good Morning America.
Margot Robbie from Barbie loved having a legendary star like Robert de Niro on set: “That was really a check mark on my bucket list. I was most happy with him on set.”
“The beauty of a cast of this caliber was that no one walked around with starry airs. Everyone wanted the best for each other,” says Rami Malek of Bohemian Rhapsody.
“I was chatting with Chris Rock for a while and love his stand-up comedy. But then I got the idea that I’d be wasting 6 years of preparation because I’d be on set with ‘Christian: Chris’ big Rock’, rather than the character I should try to be in,” tells Christian Bale of Thor: Love and Thunder and concludes with: “It was one of the funniest and funniest and most inspiring movies I’ve worked on for me.”
