Pleasing forecast: Another dream proposal for Slovakia?
For more than 10 years, overseas expert Bob McKenzie has guessed the draft unit in the NHL. A renowned expert from the Canadian TV station TSN published his first forecast of the future NHL draft and made Slovaks smile!
Slovakia has historically had the best draft. Forward Juraj Slafkovský (Montreal) was selected as number one, defender Šimon Nemec (New Jersey) as number two, and forward Filip Mešár (Montreal) was also drafted in the first round. Such a harvest will not be possible next year with the entry selection of newcomers, but the first forecasts of overseas experts inject optimism into the veins of Slovak hockey.
For more than 10 years, overseas pundit Bob McKenzie of Canada’s TSN has been predicting who will go No. 1 in his final pre-draft prediction. He was not wrong about Juraj Slafkovski either. Now published on the website TSN The first forecast for the 2023 draft and he included his forward Dalibor Dvorský in the TOP 10!
That would be another huge success for Slovak hockey. “The Slovak center has the size, strength, skills and competitiveness to be a solid two-way center in the second offense of an NHL team. He is equally good at scoring goals and creating plays.” McKenzie addresses Dvorský, whom he placed in the 9th position in his forecast, for next year’s draft.
He put Connor Bedard in first place, Matvej Mičkov in second place, and Adam Fantilli completes the TOP 3.
The head of the TSN scouting department, Craig Button, also commented positively on Dvorský’s address: “Skillful player with intense competitiveness who can make a difference. Dvorský has the necessary skills to have all the offensive play, but he also has the strength and focus to be strong in playmaking.”
Having three hockey players drafted in the top ten within two years would be an absolute bomb for Slovak hockey!
