Military equipment will move in Lithuania! | Alkas.lt
September 24 from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Galvė st. 120, in Vilnius, and after seeing moving military equipment on all Lithuanian roads, Military Police of the Lithuanian Army asks residents not to be afraid – not only the Abrams tank, but also air defense systems, PzH2000 howitzers, Wolf infantry fighting vehicles, JLTV all-terrain vehicles or HMMWV all-terrain vehicles will travel to the Armyday Fest 1 event for residents.
“Armyday”, which has been organizing military-themed events and feeding mass events with military food for ten years, invites you to see the weapons and equipment of the Lithuanian Army and NATO partners in their territory.
Residents and guests of Lithuania will be given a rare opportunity to get acquainted with the most innovative armored vehicle in the world prepared for Lithuania.
At the event, it will be possible not only to see, but also to touch with your own hands the legendary computer counter-voltage devices, which were extremely important in stopping the Russian side against Kyiv.
The regiment trained by the Great Hetman of Lithuania Jonuš Radvila will also participate in the event on Saturday, which will demonstrate its activities.
The idea of the event came from military-themed lovers Armyday, who often invite residents to similar meetings, but this year the event is given to the soldiers of NATO and Lithuania.
The event is full of impressive moments and various matches that spread a good mood, which are organized by the Military Academy together with the Military Conscription and Recruitment Service.
The volley of the event will also be fired from the 18th century. “Kaunas Laisvieji šauliai” places the right to fire the cannon.
“Even for 50 years, we were taught that we are a small agrarian state, but if we remember the history of Lithuania since the early Middle Ages, the Lithuanian nation has always been a hardworking, proud and warlike nation.
All of this is perfectly illustrated by the living archeology clubs participating in “Armyday Fest 1”, says Mindaugas K. Pocius, founder and long-time leader of Armyday Lithuania.
The event will take place at Galvės st. 120, Vilnius.
