In the park near the Lužiny metro station, over five hundred “bullies” gathered for the meeting
In the Central Park in Prague 13, a gathering of bull terrier owners and their dogs was discovered. It is already the 9th year of this Rekord Bull meeting, and one of the goals, in addition to raising awareness of bull breeds, is also the creation of a new record in the number of incoming pets (September 24, 2022).

Part of this event is regularly an attempt to break the record for the number of “buns” in one place. But that didn’t work out this year, in 2018 the entire dog pack in Central Park numbered 705 individuals.
“The aim of the event was also to show that these breeds are not at all as bloodthirsty as some people think they are. On the contrary, as can be seen at this event every year, they can get along even if there are several of them in one place,” says event organizer Kateřina Kašparová.
According to her, the interest in a similar event was greatly crippled by covid. Gradually, however, the number of gentlemen who come even with their “bulks” is increasing every year.
But one record still fell, in the so-called mass obedience. With a total of twenty dogs, their owners performed various exercises together for ten minutes, such as laying down while walking or mass summoning.
Proceeds from the entire event will go to support dogs in need, especially those that have had the unfortunate fate of passing through illegal breeders.
