Eat Festival brings the best of Brussels to your plate
From September 29 to October 2, Tour & Taxis hosts the best Brussels has to offer. Sixty chefs, pastry chefs, cheese makers and brewers give a taste of their products and culinary knowledge during the Eat Festival. The highlight will be the Belgian First Cheese Specialist competition.
Making various culinary discoveries in one place is possible next weekend in Brussels. In the Gare Maritime on Tour & Taxis, different craftsmen and women will gather for the seventh time to taste their products and tell their story. During the four-day festival, the chefs, mixologists, brewers, pastry chefs and cheese makers stumble over each other.
Also on the menu: a market of local producers, a Brussels beer bar and a cocktail bar. For wine lovers there is the wine bar of Les Vins de Bordeaux and many workshops, given by the famous wine school Ecole du Vin de Bordeaux. On Sunday 2 October, various cheese makers will compete for the title of First Cheese Specialist of Belgium.
An entrance ticket costs 10 euros. More info about the chefs, the menus and the reservation options can be found at www.eatfestival.brussels.
