Aleksievich: Belarus is occupied, do not ban Belarusians from entering
Belarus is occupied Russiatherefore, its society should not be blamed for the fact that the country’s leadership supports the second Russia in Ukraine.
“Of course, the whole country seized the occupied territory,” Aleksievich said.
As a reminder, from 19 September Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and Poland ban on the entry of Russian tourists across the borders of the European Union (EU). Minister of Internal Affairs Lithuania Agne Bilotaite said that the same restrictions are being introduced for Belarusian tourists.
Aleksievich does not consider such a solution possible.
“To think that because of this they will become revolutionaries is naive. They will not become revolutionaries, and life will become harder for them.
