“Russia finds itself in most of France”
The war that Russia has unleashed against, in fact, is a “war of territorial aggression.” State Department spokesman Ned Price said this in an interview with Voice of America. That is why, in his opinion, it is also important that the participating countries show the UN emergency approaching this emergency in New York, constantly calling for “the whole to demand the world accurately, consistently and unanimously to declare the significance of Russia everywhere being subjected to this cruel danger for you to oppose the aggression, to be in solidarity with the discussion of the Ukrainian participants.”
Ned Price also touched upon the topic of delivering support from the parties of Ukraine to the United States and many other countries.
“We are sending them (Ukrainians) billions of dollars in security assistance – more than 15 billion since the beginning of the Russian aggression, and other countries are doing it too. We place the responsibility on Russia. We did as we were told to make sure that the key high leaders, the key Russian institutions responsible for this war, suffer colossal outcomes and test the consequences of this,” Price said.
“Russia finds itself in more and more of France,” Price returns. – I think today’s meeting in the Security Council was quite indicative: the Minister of Foreign Affairs [РФ] Lavrov did his job, came right before leaving [зал] as soon as the speech ended. You can regard it as you like, but this is a sign of weakness. This is a sign that Russia is increasingly realizing that even its longtime partners are beginning to distance themselves from Russia. We assessed this from an assessment in Samarkand (at the SCO conference – “GA”), when tough demands were made on Vladimir Putin. We are earlier today in the Security Council [ООН]where one country after another condemned this aggression and the takeover of Russia by the takeover of the invasion of Ukraine.”
When asked by a VOA correspondent about how to deal with the fact that the Russian Federation is still a member of the Security Council with veto power, Ned Price replied that “we are discussing this issue with the participation of all over the world. Russia has made every effort to prevent the Security Council from dealing with the urgent tasks of our time. We are striving that, together with participants and an alliance around the world, with countries around the world, to territories with countless challenges.”
