Exciting message about Crown Prince Haakon: “Breakthrough…”
Crown Prince Haakon (48) has shown on several occasions that he is a good representative and a good role model for the Norwegian people.
Among other things, he has engaged in international issues and is concerned with adapting the royal role to his times.
We often picture stiffly decorated princes and princesses when we think of the royal family, but the Norwegian royal family also has a great interest in sports and outdoor life.
King Harald is known to be a keen sailor, and has participated in both the WC and the Olympics.
The younger generation of royals are also keen outdoorsmen, among other things Princess Ingrid Alexandra is a skilled surfer.

The expedition was a success, and now Crown Prince Haakon can once again reveal that he is going on a trip.
Crown Prince Haakon will visit Iceland
Crown Prince Haakon will again make the trip north-east to visit another country.
This time the trip goes to Iceland.
However, it won’t be some long expedition over several weeks with skis on your feet. Crown Prince Haakon is going to Iceland to participate in the annual Arctic Circle conference in Reykjavik. It comes out in one press release from the government.
The Crown Prince will be in Iceland for three days, from 12 to 14 October. And he gets an extensive program where he has to visit local businesses and look at green solutions.
He will also visit Fagradalsfjall, the area where the volcanic eruption in Iceland took place. And he will go with none other than Iceland’s president, Guðni Thorlacius Jóhannesson.
“The crown prince’s visit to Iceland will mark the good and close neighborly relationship between Norway and Iceland. The Crown Prince and President Jóhannesson will visit Fagradalsfjall, the area where the last volcanic eruption in Iceland took place. The purpose of the hike is to show the natural forces that are raw in Iceland and necessary for safety and preparedness adaptations due to frequent volcanic activity», it says in the press release.
