Cicek and Gasser extended early until 2025 – Liechtenstein
VADUZ – FC Vaduz announced the contract extensions with Tunahan Cicek and Cédric Gasser. The two eastern Swiss are extending their contracts, which expire next summer, by two more years to 2025.
Tunahan Cicek came to FC Vaduz from Neuchâtel Xamax FCS in the summer of 2019 and is one of the top performers in the team. He has already completed 16 competitive games for FCV this season. He scored seven goals and two assists. Overall, Cicek has played 134 times for FC Vaduz, scoring 63 points.
Cédric Gasser is another regular player at FCV. The 24-year-old defender also came to FCV from FC St. Gallen 1879 in the summer of 2019 and has made 13 competitive appearances this season. He scored three goals in the process, two of them in qualifying for the UEFA Europa Conference League group stage.
“We are very happy that we were able to extend the contracts with both Tuni and Cédi. Both have shown this season, especially at European level, how important they are for us and that they are among the absolute leaders, »said FCV sports director Franz Burgmeier due to the two contract extensions.
