The Monaco Grand Prix will be on the program until 2025
Long threatened like many other historic circuits, namely Spa, Monza or even Le Castellet, which will not be part of the 2023 program, Monaco has been able to count on its history to be preserved.
The new commercial rights were the reason for the possible departure of the historic Grands Prix which demanded a lot of money while these had advantages over their permanent rescheduling.
With these agreements, Monaco is guaranteed to be on the program until at least 2025, to the delight of the President of the Automobile Club of Monaco.
“In the interest of the Formula 1 World Championship and after several months of negotiations, we are proud to announce that we have signed a three-year agreement with Formula 1, subject to renewal. The 2023 Monaco Formula 1 Grand Prix will take place on Sunday May 28, 2023.”
The CEO of Formula 1 also did not hide his pride in seeing the Monaco Grand Prix on the program for another 3 years.
“I am happy to confirm that we will be racing in Monaco until 2025 and I cannot wait to be back on the streets of this famous Principality next year on May 28. I would like to thank everyone involved in this contract renewal and more particularly Prince Albert II of Monaco, Michel Boeri, President of the Automobile Club of Monaco and his entire team. We look forward to being back next season to continue our partnership together. »
The Monegasques could appreciate the return of the pilots from May 28, 2023 for their greatest happiness.
