Under a beautiful blue sky and a fluctuating temperature between 28-30 degrees, there were many people on the training ground of the Toulouse stadium this Tuesday, September 20, 2022. The infirmary has partly emptied, even if the Cyril Baille, Romain Ntamack, François Cros, Pita Ahki, Paul Graou and Santiago Chocobares are still there. Just like the center Pierre-Louis Barassi, lined up for a half in the first Top 14 match against Bordeaux-Bègles and who has not yet resumed.
Thibaud Flament and Yannick Youyoutte present
The main return, it retains Thibaud Flamingo. The French international (9 caps) had been out since mid-August due to a sprained ankle. He trained without embarrassment on Tuesday, and he is applying for the reception of the Race 92 this Saturday, September 24 (9:05 p.m.), on behalf of the 4e Top 14 day. Good news at a position where Toulouse, just in time, deplores the absence of Richie Arnold, expelled during the defeat in Pau and automatically suspended.
Still on the second line, we also note the return of Yannick Youyoutte, victim of a biceps tendon rupture at the end of March 2022 and who was injured during a preseason stage in the tendon of the other biceps. He brings to the Toulouse staff a solution in addition to Joshua Brennan, Emmanuel Meafou and Thibaud Flament, but also within a third line where Alban Placines was spared this Tuesday, victim of a blow to a knee, but also to the iliac crest against Pau. He should not be present against Racing 92, especially since his company will give birth in the days to come.
Marchand and Lebel aligned against Racing 92?
Dad since the last week, the center Pierre Fouyssac applies for this weekend’s match, as does the left prop David Ainu’u, who complained at the start of the season of muscle discomfort and who was preserved. At the same post, Maxime Duprat also trained on Tuesday after his concussion against Toulon, just like Paul Mallez, victim of a gash in the lip in Pau.
Absent at the Hameau stadium, the hooker Julien Marchand (spared) and the winger Mathis Lebel – the latter admitting to being particularly in the legs during the various workshops of the day – apply and it seems likely that the two will be aligned against Racing 92. Note also the presence of the center / winger Lucas Tauzinnot spared from physical glitches in recent months, as well as that of the international winger at 7 Nelson Sword. This one will be with the Rouge et Noir group until mid-November. The Haut-Garonne staff will have to make choices in view of the meeting against Racing 92, and the rotation policy will once again be effective.
