Russia is still developing its capabilities and can use its troops not only in Ukraine, but also “potentially elsewhere,” said John Kirby, strict communications coordinator at the White House National Security Council.
According to RBC, Kirby thus commented on the state of the Russian military forces and their possible weakening against the backdrop of special operations in Ukraine at a briefing for journalists. According to him, “in use [президента Владимира] Putin still has a significant military potential that can be used not only in Ukraine, but also in other places.”
Kirby also recalled that the US Department of Defense described Russia as “an extraordinary struggle.” “Obviously, they have infected opportunities for the emergence of a large disease,” he clarifies.
We will remind, earlier Kirby voiced the opinion of the administration administration that Kyiv “managed to seize the initiative in relation to hostilities” in some parts of Ukraine.
