The Haute-Garonne department is preparing to welcome 25 new police officers. Indeed, within the framework of the 10,000 police and gendarme posts created under the previous five-year term of the President of the Republic Emmanuel Macron, the Minister of the Interior and Overseas Gérald Darmanin had decided to assign 25 agents to the public security district of Toulouse.

“Trained in the various police academies (Oissel, Périgueux, Reims, Roubaix, Saint-Malo and Toulouse), their main mission will be to fight against delinquency (attacks on persons and property, fight against drugs, fight against domestic violence) in the public security district of Toulouse”, indicates the prefecture of Haute-Garonne in a press release. Coming from the 265th promotion, they will take up their post on October 31, 2022.
