The curtain has opened at the 5th World Fair Play Day on Wednesday 7 September 2022 at the Sala Polivalente Auditorium Little Tony in Serravalle, Republic of San Marino; the audience present experienced the San Marino event with emotion and participation in the presence of the Heads of State of the Republic HE Oscar Mina and HE Paolo Rondelli.
The rich program of the San Marino National Fair Play Committee (CNSFP) began in the afternoon at the Laiala Park in Serravalle with the inauguration of the Fair Play Tree – Let’s think about our future with the participation of young cyclists from the Juvenes Cycling School, and citizens. In the evening to the notes of the Hymns, in the Sala Polivalente, the President of the CNSFP Gian Battista Silvagni opened the proceedings, which was followed by the institutional greetings of the Secretary of State for Sport Teodoro Lonfernini, the President of the San Marino National Olympic Committee Gian Primo Giardi, by the Captain of Castello di Serravalle Roberto Ercolani, by the EFPM President Philippe Housiaux with a video message, by the CSPC President Riccardo Venturini.
Later Eraldo Reggini, who presented the Agend FSGC Diary containing some pages dedicated to Fair Play with the contribution of the CNSFP, took turns at the microphone, Giacomo Cenci accompanied by Massimo Mattei of the FSGC Arbitration Sector who reported on the ” Role of the Referee in sport; ” very interesting and engaging is the presentation of Book “58” dedicated to the SIC Marco Simoncelli by Fabio Fagnani Impossible to participate, the publisher Paolo Gozzi accompanied by the curator of the work Elisabetta Lubrani; reports and interventions that captured the attention of the large audience with interest.
A solemn moment during the evening, the official presentation of the CNSFP Fair Play Hymn that Diego Renzi illustrated with the presence of the protagonists of Paul Gordon Manners, Fabrizio Pregnolato, Manuel Baggiarini, Maria Rita Morganti and young athletes in the compare the video that met with considerable appreciation from those present. In the second part of the event, the various Fair Play Awards were assigned to those who are distinguished in sport, inspired by the sound principles and values of Fair Play with the Fair Play Award for Gesture, Career, Promotion; Honorable Mention Fair Play, Fair Play Diploma of Merit, Woman Soroptimist Single Club San Marino Award, Young San Marino RTV Award and La Serenissima, the San Marino newspaper. The evening was brilliantly conducted by Patrizia Levorato, Matteo Selleri with the presence of Sveva Campana, finalist in the Miss Competition
Reginetta Italia 2022. The evening was enlivened by the pleasant notes of two students of the San Marino Music Institute Maddalena Bianchi (Guitar) student of Prof. Angelo Guidi and Eleonora Stefanelli (Guitar) student of Prof. Emanuela Valmaggi, with the presence of the IMS Fausto Giacomini.
