In the Great and General Council that will open next week there will also be a lot of talk about the economy and the prospects for San Marino in light of the Fitch downgrade.
In fact, the proposal of the future Republic to insert a reference by the Secretary of Finance on the results of the Fitch report and on the prospects of the country system was accepted. A specific paragraph has not been inserted but it is an autonomous point in paragraph 5 on the budget adjustment.

The Government will thus be forced to account for the work done so far – which in our opinion is totally insufficient if not harmful to achieve the country – and the ideas it intends. The government will thus have to get out of the secrecy that has cloaked its action in the financial field and submit to the examination of all San Marino citizens. We hope – concludes Renzi – that the proposals that the Government will share with the classroom will be up to the situation we are experiencing, otherwise it will be a huge problem for the country and the definitive certification of the sensational executive ”.
