The next step to trolleybuses to Polabí. The region started looking for designers of the new line Prague – Brandýs
The estimated construction costs are 700 million crowns.
The Central Bohemian Region has made progress with its plans to introduce trolleybus service between Prague and Brandýs nad Labem – Stará Boleslaví.
He wrote competition for processing project documentation for the new line, which is supposed to bring emission-free operation of the existing bus line 375. The estimated price of the contract is 20.7 million crowns, it was tendered jointly by the Central Bohemian Region, the Regional Administration and Road Maintenance of the Central Bohemian Region and the Transport Company hl. m of Prague.
The winner of the competition must prepare the documentation for the joint permit and for the selection of the contractor in stages for inspection during construction. It should also prepare the project plan, including the economic evaluation of HDM4 for the purposes of submitting an application from OPD3. The concept documentation for the construction, with an estimated price of 700 million crowns, is to be completed within six months after the conclusion of the contract.
The contract was awarded two months after the first documentation successfully passed the procedure on the impact of the construction on the environment. This happened after the first documentation of the region was withdrawn and revised based on comments from the municipalities.
The Central Bohemian Region is counting on the route of bus lines 375 from Českomoravská with a total length of 22.2 km, with the construction of a trolley line with a length of 12.65 km in the direction from Prague and 11.54 km in the direction to Prague. After completion, the line should be extended to Stará Boleslav station. At the same time, the length of the railed sections was shortened compared to last year’s documentation at the initiative of the municipalities.
Partial trolleybuses will run on the line, which will be recharged while driving in trolleyed sections. Trolleybuses and their routing through the villages have already ruined one plan for a new trolleybus line. Last year, the Central Bohemian region backed down from plans for trolleybus service to Kostelka nad Labem due to protests from municipalities on this route.
