According to current knowledge, the 31-year-old man may have been traveling in his wheelchair on Staudnerbachstrasse and, for unknown reasons, got into the sloping creek bank. “The man fell into the creek and got his head under water,” writes the canton police. According to the report, a local resident discovered the man shortly after 3:30 p.m. and called for help to get him out of the creek. “After the successful resuscitation by the first responders, the police, the rescue service and the emergency doctor, the man had to be taken to the hospital in critical condition,” the cantonal police continue.
