The succession of Dominique Faure is preparing in Toulouse
Dominique Faure, who has joined the government, resigns from her position as 1st Vice-President of Toulouse Métropole and member of the metropolitan office. Toulouse Métropole is preparing its succession.
“After his appointment to the government and in application of the law on the non-cumulation of mandates, Dominique Faure resigned from his functions as 1st vice-president of Toulouse metropolis and member of the metropolitan office, and handed over his delegations”, announces Toulouse metropolis Thursday, September 1. Dominique Faure, however, remains a metropolitan councillor.
It is a surprise of the reshuffle of the government of Elisabeth Borne: Dominique Faure was appointed Secretary of State for rurality on July 4. In her new position, she is attached to the Ministry of Ecological Transition and Territorial Cohesion led by Christophe Béchu.
New allocations in Toulouse metropolis
Consequently, at its next meeting, the metropolitan council of the Toulouse conurbation will rule on the election of a new vice-president. But as of now, its president Jean-Luc Moudenc assigns the following delegations:
• Joseph Carles, vice-president in charge of forecasting and contracting, coordinates public economic development policies in Toulouse Métropole and implements the “Ambition 2026” roadmap.
• Agnès Plagneux Bertrand, Vice-President in charge of Industry and the productive economy, will ensure the implementation of actions to promote and promote the areas of economic activity, the creation of synergy between the actors of the ecosystem economy, actions in favor of innovation and policies to support and accompany the creation and development of businesses.
• François Chollet, Vice-President in charge of Ecology, Sustainable Development and Energy Transition, insurer of the economic application of the PCAET (Territorial Climate-Air-Energy Plan)
• Jean Claude Dardelet, vice-president in charge of attractiveness, tourism, Europe and international affairs, will be responsible for MEETT.
• Bertrand Serp, vice-president in charge of digital transition, ensures relations with French Tech/French Fab, the implementation of actions in favor of the economic development of the Grand Matabiau Campus and the smart city.
