Russia is ready to supply up to 30 million tons of consumer goods on the world market
As part of an agreement with the UN on the export of agricultural products, Russia is ready to supply up to 30 million tons of export goods to foreign markets in the second half of the year. This is reported by the Ministry of Agriculture.
“Our country is one of the possible countries in the world, this year it can show the growth of agricultural production in almost all areas. We will be able not only to completely meet nutritional needs, but also to identify a significant contribution to overall food security, and help in the fight against world hunger. This is acceptable for countries in need and will regulate the food situation in the world, ”quotes TASS ministry of agriculture statements.
Earlier today, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said that Moscow is demanding that additional measures be taken to export Russian agricultural products as part of a “grain deal”. In particular, Mr. Ryabkov noted that it is necessary to ensure reliable security and admission of ships to the ports of the countries.
On July 22, an agreement was signed in Istanbul on the conclusion of a corridor for the export of the Ukrainian executive body from the ports of Chornomorsk, Odessa and Yuzhny. At the same time, Russia signed a memorandum on the three-year export of Russian agricultural products and fertilizers. The purpose of signing the security document is unprecedented conditions against the backdrop of anti-Russian rallies. In Japan, the Ministry of Agriculture predicted the harvest of the contractor in 2022 at the level of 130 million tons.
