What is this “legend” of Toulouse FC who has just signed in Aveyron?

The Tunisian international (58 selections), Aymen Abdennourrevealed during his time at Toulouse Football Club between 2011 and 2014, signed this Tuesday, August 30, 2022 with the Rodez Aveyron Football club (RAF) for one season.
Today 33 years old, the “Roc”as the Toulouse supporters have nicknamed him, is making a comeback in the region that changed his lifeas he explained when he left in 2014:
“I arrived in this city and this club two years ago. But I feel like I was born here and only ever played football at TFC. However, I started at Etoile du Sahel, passing through Werder Bremen. […] I want to thank the Téf public, who supported and encouraged me, all my colleagues who adopted me as soon as I arrived…”
In the XI of legends
named in Toulouse FC’s typical team of the 2010 decadeAymen Abdennour is one of the great faces of the TFC of the Sadran era, but also theone of the best defenders to have worn the purple jersey since he was selected by the supporters in the XI of the legends on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the club.
Aymen Abdennour is therefore making its return to France and Occitaniaafter spells in Valencia (Spain), Kayserispor (Turkey) and two last seasons spent at Umm Salal Sc, in the Qatari championship.
In the Ruthenian club, the new number 4 join the young striker Killian Corredorhim too former Toulouse Football Club player.
The RAF has also formalized the signing ofanother central defender in the person of Éric Vandenabeele. At 30, this regular in Ligue 2 arrives from Valenciennes.
