The cosmonauts near Prague closed the gate, and they were the first to take down the hot newbie
With the aim of repairing their reputation after an unsuccessful home match with Neratovice, Kosmonos division football players went to the eastern outskirts of Prague. Against Újezd, which did not lose in the opening three rounds of the rookie season, it largely succeeded. To even greater satisfaction, the guests only lacked a goal scored. At the back, they played a more competitive game to zero on a smaller field and scored their fifth point of the autumn after a goalless draw.

“I am satisfied with the point and the performance of the team this time, we are always the first team against which the Prague team lost points,” recalled Kosmonos coach Michal Mašek in his post-match evaluation. The intention to finally play a match with a clean sheet at the fourth attempt worked out, to which he adapted the formation and system of the game.
“On a difficult terrain and a field with almost minimal dimensions, from the first minute it was more about football than football,” he explained the match, saying that in the first half he saw a slight advantage in the field on the part of his team. “While defending flawlessly, we also created several promising goalscoring opportunities,” he alluded, among other things, to Mašek Jr.’s tighter volley and some dangerous standard situations.

“In the second half, they had an excellent home team goal, when Šteiner kept us up again. We also didn’t convert our best chance, when Motyčka appeared alone in front of the goalkeeper at the back post,” explained Mašek, explaining why, in his opinion, it ended with a fair draw.
