Still risk of thunderstorms in Toulouse and Occitanie this Monday warns Météo France

After a still very hot Sunday, this Monday August 29, 2022 will still be summery at Toulouse and Occitania.
The weather forecast will still be difficult. But according to Meteo Francethe risk of thunderstorms will be there on Monday. It could concern Toulouse but nothing is certain.
As in recent times, the storms announced could just as well not be justified in the sky of the Pink City.
Hot morning
After a very hot Sunday evening in the Toulouse plain, the morning will not allow homes to be cooled since it will be 24° in Toulouse at daybreak.
The first clouds will arrive from the West of the Region.
Afternoon thunderstorms
Monday afternoon will, however, turn into a storm in some places. In a heavy atmosphere, these storms could break out almost everywhere on the whole territory of our region. Will they overflow into the Toulouse plain? Difficult to certify it…
“Thundery showers will reach southern Aquitaine in the morning and then spread over a large south-west quarter of the country in the afternoon. They will sometimes be accompanied by hail and strong gusts of wind up to 90 to 100 km / h”, announces Météo France.
