Last days for Toulouse Plages
Toulouse Plages is coming to an end. This Sunday marks the end of this great popular summer event, on the Prairie des Filtres, offered to Toulouse residents. This 20th edition was labeled “Terre de Jeux”, with a view to the 2024 Olympic Games.
You still have two days to enjoy the various spaces dedicated to 3×3 basketball, climbing, beach volleyball, badminton, rugby, rowing, canoeing, table tennis… but also American football (non-contact), disc golf, beach tennis, petanque, throwing games…
Of course, there are not only sports activities: 5 trampolines, 1 mini adventure course (under the responsibility of the parents), dance and expression activities (Land’art, mimes, role-playing, initiatory singing, etc.), traditional games (hopscotch, dodge ball, games on a human scale), orienteering courses, Kids tree climbing course, etc. are also on the menu.
And when it comes to idleness, go to the ludoplage to discover many games or to the biblioplage to read a book in the shade of the trees.
On the other hand, Port Viguerie, on the quay of the Spanish Republican Exile, we play the extensions. You can board the Ferris wheel to admire Toulouse, until September 10. And the Racines guinguette sets the table until the same date. Finally, a getaway aboard a license-free boat (Les Caboteurs) is possible until October 12th.
