“Ukraine is freedom”: a man from Kharkiv created a 27-meter mural in the center of Kropyvnytskyi — Kirovohrad Oblast Information Portal – Grechka
In Kropyvnytskyi, a patriotic mural “Ukraine is freedom” was presented today on the wall of the building of the regional tax inspection office, located on Naberezhnaya.
The author of the mural is Oleksandr Brittsev, a forced immigrant from Kharkiv who was born in Donetsk region. After the start of the full-scale war, he moved with his family to the Kirovohrad region from the Russian Federation.
The creation of the mural was his own initiative.
“The mural is dedicated to Ukraine – a Ukrainian woman who lights the Ukrainian fire. I proposed my idea to the local government. They supported and helped to find the building. After that, they gave permission to start work”, – says the artist “Greeks”.
He started the work at the beginning of August and planned to finish it within a week, but due to weather conditions, the process was delayed a little. However, today the mural is ready, it was solemnly presented to the residents of the city.
The size of the image is 27 meters in height and 7 meters in width.
During today’s presentation, the artist was presented with thanks from the region for the mural.
“This mural is my thanks to the city for sheltering my family. We were welcomed here as family, for which we are very grateful,” Oleksandr then said.
“Buckwheat” followed the creation of the mural from the very beginning, so we suggest viewing photos of the step-by-step work on the painting.
