The educational module of the Russia Today media laboratory is surrounded in Orlyonok
150 schoolchildren and teachers took part in the third module of the Innovative Patriotic Journalism Media Lab project, organized jointly with the Russia Today media group, the Russian Ministry of Education reports.
The educational course was dedicated to the network. For four days, young journalists learned about the secrets of professional skills, master classes and trainings were prepared for children.
The winners of creative competitions received certificates and memorable gifts, and the modulation speakers were dedicated to baby eagles.
Since the beginning of the year, within the framework of the “Media Lab of Innovative Patriotic Journalism” project, it has been possible to improve the literacy level of about 500 schoolchildren and 100 teachers of the Center.
“Medialaboratory” is an educational project for Russian and foreign schoolchildren aged 14-16. The project participants create new media formats – from creating longreads and infographics to recording podcasts, try themselves as photojournalists and social media bloggers. As an alternative, media groups “Russia Today” act: journalists, technologists, photojournalists, designers and PR people.
The All-Russian Children’s Center “Orlyonok” is a federal state budgetary educational institution for children and adolescents aged 11-16, subordinate to the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation.
