Distributed for several weeks, the antivax posters of Toulouse will be banned by the State

“Stop misinformation! “. The Secretary of State for Citizenship, Sonia Backesannounced on his Twitter account, Friday, August 19, 2022, removal of antivax posters which have flourished in recent weeks on billboards in Toulouse.
Indeed, a prefectural order will prohibit the distribution of this type of poster in the city. A report was also sent to the public prosecutor of Haute-Garonne.
“Use recommended legal remedies”
In his tweet, the Secretary of State first claimed to have been alerted by this poster campaign against the Covid-19 vaccine.
She asked explaining: “I asked the prefect to use the legal remedies requested to make it stop. No date has yet been released regarding the permanent removal of the posters.
“False Information”
A few days before, the Haute-Garonne prefect, Etienne Guyothad contacted the police in order to identify all the antivax posters contained in the city.
He also gave his opinion on the situation and the risks expressed by this advertising campaign: “The attention of the prefecture of Haute-Garonne has been drawn to the existence of a poster campaign disseminating misleading information concerning the side effects or undesirable effects which would arise, according to the advertiser, vaccination against Covid-19, especially in children. »
A first panel installed along the Canal du Midi
The first panel has been installed, on private land on Boulevard de l’Embouchure pendant along the canal du midi July 2022.
The written sentence is the one found on all the other advertisements: “Anti-covid vaccines. 1 cardiovascular accident for 100 injections: the health of our children is better than experimental vaccines. »
As a reminder, this message was signed by the “Independent Scientific Council”, a group of health and alternative medicine professionals, resistant to compulsory vaccination and/or covidosceptics.
