The Prague municipality will investigate a possible conflict of interest. The spokesperson of the local club STAN and TOP 09 collects money from city companies, but at the same time the mentioned party sponsors. The newspaper E15 informs about it on Thursday. Šárka Kuželová sent over a million crowns to politicians through her companies. She herself rejects any connection between money for work done and financial donations.

In 2020, the spokesperson Šárka Kuželová became a media consultant for the municipal company Trade Center Prague, which has paid almost 760 thousand crowns for it so far. Daily E15 he only found this out thanks to the Freedom of Information Act. Until then, the chairman of the board, Jan Bouška, refused to answer the newspaper’s questions.

At the same time, between 2019 and 2022, the TOP 09 party received a similar start from the INception s.r.o. company, where Kuželová is one of the two executives, the newspaper writes. “I completely rule out any connection between my work, which I properly deduct, and which donations,” Kuželová reiterates.
According to the head of the party, Markéta Pekarová Adamová, the TOP 09 board did not find a problem with donations. On the other hand, Jiří Pospíšil, who heads the Prague organization of the party, will not go down well with Kuželová’s negotiations. Another more than 280,000 crowns was sent by Kuželová to the Elders and Independents movement in May this year.
That is why the municipality of the capital will now have the sponsor checked, said councilor for property management Jan Chabr from TOP 09. It is precisely under his management that the company Trade Center Praha, cooperating with Kuželová, falls.
The gifts will also be investigated by members of the company’s supervisory board from among the Pirates, he announced to Prague Mayor Zdenek Hřib (Pirates). According to him, city companies should avoid cooperation with sponsoring political parties that are directly responsible for their management.
