The antivax campaign in Toulouse do not pass. Since July, it has been possible to see billboards in Toulouse with the following message: “1 cardiovascular accident for 100 injections is worth the health of our children more than experimental vaccines”.
Quickly, the posters sparked outrage. The general practitioner, Stéphane Oustric, also adviser to theDoctor’s orders had announced on his Twitter account that he had seized the prefect of Haute-Garonne on this subject. The response from the prefecture was not long in coming.

“The prefect of Haute-Garonne, the director general ofRegional Health Agency (ARS) Occitanie and the president of the Departmental Council of the Order of Convicted Physicians qualified these posters which aim to disseminate misleading information on a crucial public health subject” announces the Prefecture in a press release.
The three institutions also recall that “vaccination against COVID-19 aims to protect the health of all, and in particular the most vulnerable, and that it has made it possible to limit […] the number of serious cases and deaths related to this pandemic.”
The prefect also asked the security forces to draw up reports of findings in order to determine very precisely the locations of these posters. For the time being, the prefecture, the ARS and the departmental order of medical examiners “les legal avenues likely to be prosecuted against the authors of these posters and those who allowed them to be affixed”.
