Schlieremer tattoo artist takes part in Ink Days Zurich
Art that gets under your skin: «For me, every tattoo is my first and my last»
Alessandro Schirone has been running the tattoo studio Nero Ink in Schlieren for seven years. At the “Ink Days Zurich” in Regensdorf, the largest tattoo convention in Switzerland, the Geroldswiler will prove his talent next weekend. In the interview, the artist talks about touching moments, the corona crisis and the change in the tattoo industry.
Alessandro Schirone sits in front of his tattoo studio Nero Ink on the Ringstrasse and looks at the roundabout in Schlieren. He smiles as he sees a man crossing the street. “This is a customer of mine. I tattooed his upper arm. It is rare that I see my works again. That’s why I’m always happy when it’s the case,” says the 43-year-old Geroldswiler. He has been beautifying the body of his customers in Schlieren for seven and a half years, before that he ran a studio in Neuenhof for four years. “I have turned my passion into a profession,” says the qualified fiduciary. Few could say that about themselves. In his shop, he and his colleagues Diego Fanatic and Solo Silvano tattoo, as well as changing guest artists. Everyone has their own tattoo stall. Photos of his tattoos and some prizes hang on the wall at Schirone’s workplace. The next award could soon join them. From August 19th to 21st, Schirone will take part in the “Ink Days Zurich” in Regensdorf, the largest tattoo convention in Switzerland.
