Retail chains start selling expired food
Russian retailers start selling expired food products. “Magnit” was the first to come to the search for buyers for such a product. This is stated in the company’s documents on sustainable sustainable management.
“We started looking for food products that have lost their consumer properties: partners choose and conclude contracts. As part of this project, we have developed a scheme for the write-off and registration of expired products that continue to be purchased,” – indicated in the materials of Magnit.
As they write “News”, in products that are already unacceptable in food products occupied by food and fertilizer manufacturers, but so far, from the point of view of the legislation, the delay is a dangerous product. It can be transferred for processing, paying for the service itself, and only after confirming the safety of products in the examination process, added to the Russian Environmental Operator (REO).
The documents of Magnit indicate that last summer the company launched a project for the environmental audit of waste that accumulates in storage containers. This practice appeared in 36 alarm points in four regions, and it continues this year.
