The negotiations between AC Milan and Ismaël Bennacer are still not bearing fruit. According to several sources, the Algerian international has rejected yet another offer from Milan leaders who wish to extend his contract.
Linked to the club until 2024, Ismaël Bennacer would have decided to leave AC Milan before the end of this summer transfer window. The Rossoneri conducted a series of negotiations with the Algeria international in the but extended his bail. But, the midfielder still hasn’t accepted because of the contract details which don’t meet his demands.
However, both sides are headed for the exit door where Ismael Bennacer will likely transfer to another club. AC Milan have set his price tag at 40 million euros. According to several Italian media, Liverpool FC is in negotiations with the player’s representatives. It remains to be seen whether Jürgen Klopp’s Reds would be able to pay such a sum for the Algerian.
In Spain, the name of Bennacer is cited as a potential target in the event of a departure from Casemiro, much courted by Manchester United.
