Cycling in Luxembourg: The Skoda Tour Luxembourg returns on September 13

JUNGLINSTER – 18 cycling teams will set off in mid-September to try to win the yellow jersey of the Tour de Luxembourg.
“A career with great potential”. The tone is set straight away! The 82nd edition of the Skoda Tour LuXembourg will be back in the Grand Duchy from Tuesday 13th to Saturday 17th September 2022. No region of the country will be forgotten as “the biggest cycling race in the Grand Duchy” will cross the hills of the Ardennes, the vineyards of the Moselle and the industrial sites of southern Luxembourg.
Six WorldTour teams, among the 18 participating teams, were confirmed this Thursday, August 18, during a press conference organized in Junglinster at the Garage Losch Skoda. The solid formations Ag2r-Citroën, Cofidis, Groupama-FDJ, Trek-Segafredo, Quick-Step Alpha Vinck, UAE Team Emirates will therefore take a peloton where we will also find 9 UCI Pro Teams, including Alpecin-Deceuninck, and 3 continental teams , including Leopard Pro Cycling.
Who will succeed the Portuguese Joa Almeida? We will find out on Saturday September 17 after five stages which will be broadcast, during the last two hours of lessons, in 135 countries thanks to RTL Télé Lëtzebuerg and Eurosport. The race will also be broadcast on Eurosport Player, Global Cycling Network, L’Equipe in France and Rai in Italy.
