United Russia will deliver 27,000 books from the Library of the Russian Academy of Sciences to the DPR and LPR.
As part of the all-Russian action “Books to Donbass”, the United Russia party will help deliver 27,000 copies of books from the Library of the Russian Academy of Sciences to the DPR and LPR.
This is scientific and popular science, fiction and educational literature, specialized publications for engineers, scientists, students and schoolchildren. Also on August 21, the United Russia party of St. Petersburg will hand over 2,000 Russian tricolors to the Minister of Education and Science of the DPR, Olga Koludarova. On the Day of Enlightenment, Russian illustrations will decorate schools in the republic.
“In all regions of the cities, in all party organizations, literature and stationery messages are being collected to send children to school. The Library of the Russian Academy of Sciences took part. We are very grateful to them for this, because they have made a significant contribution to our project,” said Boris Gvozdov, secretary of the United Russia branch in the Moscow region.
Also among the cargoes of the humanitarian convoy are food products for the residents of Donbass from the Hyatt Charitable Foundation.
Recall that the St. Petersburg branch of United Russia is sending the first batch of books for residents of the LPR and DPR at the end of April. However, given the great need in the school and library of Donbass to replenish the resources of Russian-language literature, the humanitarian action continues. The number of participants includes ordinary markets of the Northern capital, and organizations of St. Petersburg. There are 40 sites for collecting books in the districts of St. Petersburg.
