The President of the Republic of Moldova, about the most serious consequence of Russian propaganda
The worst consequence of Russian propaganda is when we see in society people justifying or even promoting the war in Ukraine. The statement was made by Maia Sandu, president of the Republic of Moldova.
In this sense, the head of state recalled that the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova voted the law that imposes certain impediments for such disinformation coming through propaganda.
“There are no miracle solutions. We need to talk more and not only in relation to televisions. There is also the print media. We have a number of publications where, from top to bottom, there is nothing but disinformation and promoting warl”, declared Maia Sandu during a interview for NordNews.
According to the president of the Republic of Moldova, the state must take a much tougher attitude towards these mass media that misinform in order to justify and promote the war.
“Beyond the other aspects of disinformation, where we can discuss to what extent is freedom of the press and where is disinformation, on the side where the war is promoted, where the war is justified, the measures must be very harsh and there is no room for debate here. He risks the state security address and, at one of the next meetings of the Supreme Security Council, to be more decisive and stop this war propaganda.“, explained Maia Sandu.
