The Aston Martin Valkyrie already spotted in the streets of Monaco!
The first Aston Martin Valkyries begin to be delivered to 150 customers around the world. Here is a glimpse of it in the streets of Monaco!
That’s it, we’re finally going to come across a new hypercar in the streets of the wealthiest cities. And this is theAston Martin Valkyriewhich is (finally!) ready to roll.
But it’s not about just her Valkyrie since it is a certain David Coultard who sits behind the wheel.
An F1 engine homologated for the road
As a reminder, what makes this car special is none other than its engine, directly derived from F1.
The latter is a motor 6.5L naturally aspirated V12 of displacement (original Cosworth). Maximum power is 1,014 hp at 10,500 rpm, and the red zone is reached at 11,100 rpm !
The thermal block is supported by a 162 hp electric motor, which makes it possible to reach more than 900 Nm of torque in total with the two combined. And it is this last electric motor that we notice in the video below.
You can also hear the rattling of the transmission with the engine idling. Like a real racing car, the Aston Martin Valkyrie uses a single-clutch sequential transmission with straight-cut gears and when driven at low speeds, this gearbox makes a lot of noise.
David Coulthard behind the wheel!
Designed with the help of the technical director of Red Bull F1Adrian Neweythis hypercar is therefore beginning to be delivered to the first customers.
And as you may have noticed, this is David Coulthard, the former F1 pilot !
For the moment, he is walking quietly in the streets of Monaco and in front of palaces, at less than 30 km/h…

We are waiting for him on the track!
If it is pleasant for such an owner to strut around the streets of the Principality at a slow pace, it is obviously not the ideal place to exploit the car.
We would really like to see what its 1176 hp hybrid V12 is worth on the circuit, which has a weight/power ratio of less than 1 kg/hp, i.e. more than 1,000 hp/t!
As a reminder, its production will not exceed 150 copies worldwide.
